Description:

Criminals are taking advantage of the siloed nature of banks and credit unions by perpetrating the same frauds – loan fraud, new account fraud – over and over at different institutions. When law enforcement hears about a fraud, it can be hard to connect the dots and realize the full scope of the crime. Verafin has recently introduced FRAMLx to our customers in the United States; FRAMLx uses advanced cross-institutional analysis to expand the limited view of a single institution and detects patterns of activity across two or more financial institutions. Come learn about some of the challenges and rewards of this approach!
