Description:

The Cyber threat landscape is changing fast. No longer is the IT perimeter a safe bet. Advanced persistent threats are targeting our critical infrastructure.
A new tool set, new methodologies and new technologies are needed to combat the day to day struggle to keep the bad guys out of our Networks. Come learn about some of these  new tools, technologies and methodologies that are being deployed in this post-breach environment to hunt out the bad guys and plug the leaks.

Presenter Bio:

Jerry Glowka is VP of Emerging Technologies at SynerSolutions Technologies and will shed some light on some new technologies used by the Federal Government. Jerry has 20 years of experience in Information Technologies. His expertise is in Big Data Analytics, High Performance Computing and in Next Generation Security. Some of his latest accomplishments have been building Canada’s largest Big Data Clusters, as well as securing government facilities around the world. Synersolutions Technologies is an Ottawa based company that works with emerging security technologies in the Big Data Analytics space with the Canadian Federal Government.
